My name is Frederick Romano, and I am from the Dominican Republic. Growing up on the island, my dream, like that of many young Dominican men, was to become a professional baseball player. Of the hundreds of baseball players drafted by the MLB to play with their affiliated teams, only 1% will make it to the MLB. Despite years of constant training, practice, and being seen by many scouts, I was not drafted. Baseball was my hope and the hope of my family. I was disappointed, sad, frustrated, and without direction in my life until a baseball scout referred me to Ernso Pierre.
When I contacted Ernso and spoke with him, he gave me hope again. He placed me in the right English program in the United States. After improving my English, I passed the English college admission test. Following this, the team at Inmersivo Learning Systems placed me to play baseball at Elevation Preparatory Academy in Florida. After graduating, I was placed at Dawson Community College in Montana. Upon graduating from Dawson, I was recruited to play higher college baseball at Western Illinois University.
I am and will forever be grateful to Ernso and his team at Inmersivo Learning Systems. Their dedicated work to boost education among refugees and immigrants has profoundly impacted my life in a meaningful way.
I am Wesley Taveras, a proud Canadian Dominican. I am deeply grateful for the life-changing opportunity to be recruited by Ernso Pierre and placed at Dawson Community College. Through his guidance, I have successfully graduated with a degree in Associate of Arts and am now excited to take my talents to a D1 college baseball program in the United States. Inmersivo’s tireless efforts to empower immigrant students to achieve their academic goals have had a profound impact on my life, and I am thrilled to serve as a testament to his remarkable work. As the son of a baseball family, I was expected to follow in the footsteps of my brother Oscar Taveras, a professional player with the St. Louis Cardinals. However, when I wasn't drafted by the MLB, Ernso and his team at Inmersivo Learning Systems helped me see that education was an essential part of my future plans. Today, I am not only pursuing my passion for baseball but also boosting my academic aspirations. I owe this success to the Inmersivo Learning System's dedicated team, who helped me discover that education is the key to unlocking my full potential.

This is a group of construction workers from Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras working at the construction company Miles Height Masonry in Hailey, Idaho. The CEO Mr. Dennies McLain was very supportive by giving his employees extra time off to attend our English with an instructor twice a week. After the completion of the program, Mr. McLain offered his employees a raise for learning English related to construction work.
Ngash was a student from Sudan. He started out the Inmersivo Learning System’s platform very shy and confused. He speaks only Arabic, a little bit of Spanish, and was always getting left behind during assignments because he didn’t understand what to do. After 3 weeks of coming to classes with us, and completing his homework on our platform, he has made such significant progress that he is now able to help his wife with her English assignments and keep up with many of the other students.
